Questions, answered
What is AIpath HealthTech?
AIpath HealthTech is an AI-first unified hospital operations platform by AIpath DigiNext Private Limited. It connects clinical care, diagnostics, pharmacy, finance, insurance and patient engagement for hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and healthcare groups, across web, mobile, tablet and WhatsApp.
Is AIpath HealthTech ABDM and NHCX certified?
Our ABDM (M1–M3) and NHCX integrations are fully developed, and our application to the National Health Authority for certification is in progress. We will update our ABDM & NHCX readiness page as each milestone is cleared. Certification milestones are not a government endorsement of any product.
Do patients need an ABHA number to be registered?
No. ABHA is optional. Any patient can be registered normally, and their ABHA can be created or linked later with their consent.
How are patient records accessed and shared?
Inside the hospital, access is controlled by role-based permissions and every access is audited. Outside the hospital, records are shared only through ABDM consent-based workflows: the patient approves each request in their ABHA app and can revoke it at any time.
Can we still print prescriptions, bills and reports?
Yes. Prescriptions, bills, discharge summaries and reports can be printed on your letterhead, shared digitally, or sent to the patient’s ABHA-linked health locker.
Do doctors, nurses and patients each get their own interface?
Yes. AIpath HealthTech is one platform with role-specific workspaces for doctors, nurses, front desk, pharmacy, lab, radiology, billing, management and more, plus a patient portal and app. They all use the same underlying data, with permissions for each role.
Is it safe to use WhatsApp for patient communication?
WhatsApp is used for convenient interactions such as appointment requests, reminders, directions and report-ready alerts. It is not where medical records are stored. Sensitive records open only through verified identity and secure links, and clinical decisions stay in authenticated, auditable workflows.
Where is our data hosted and how is it protected?
AIpath HealthTech runs on AWS or Microsoft Azure, with hosting in Indian cloud regions available to support data-residency requirements. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is controlled with RBAC and multi-factor authentication, and every access to a patient record is audited.
Is AIpath HealthTech a single product or a set of modules?
It is one platform. Modules share the same patient record, users and data, so information entered once flows across departments. You can start with the modules you need and switch on others as you grow.
What ABDM capabilities does the platform support?
The platform includes ABDM integration capabilities: ABHA creation and linking where enabled, Scan & Share registration, HFR/HPR integration, HIP/HIU workflows and consent-based record exchange. Production use requires the applicable ABDM sandbox testing, security review and approvals for your facility.
How does NHCX integration work?
The insurance module supports provider-side digital claims workflows: eligibility, pre-authorisation, claim submission, query handling and settlement tracking. NHCX exchange is available subject to supported workflows and participant onboarding.
Does the AI make clinical decisions?
No. AI assists with documentation, summaries, drafting and operational insights. Clinical outputs are reviewed by qualified professionals; the AI does not independently diagnose or prescribe.
Can it run across multiple hospitals or branches?
Yes. Multi-facility operations provide central oversight with facility-specific data access, workflows and reporting, plus cross-facility comparisons in the command centre.
Can it connect to our existing systems and lab equipment?
The Integration Hub offers APIs, webhooks, FHIR exchange and laboratory equipment interfaces. Our team scopes specific integrations during onboarding.
How is pricing decided?
Pricing depends on the modules, number of facilities and users. Request a demo and we will share a clear proposal.
